Nishe Patel

We all have a continuous stream of thoughts running through our minds. When they're conscious, we are able to effectively engage with them, working through problems, planning our lives, and even creating new opportunities. However, when they're unconscious, they can appear unexpectedly, distracting us from the task at hand, stopping us in our tracks, and potentially taking us off in another direction. When these unconscious thoughts come into our awareness, they become our inner speech. As part of this, you may recognise your inner critic or potentially your inner rebel. Talking to you and challenging your chosen approach. I believe that by listening and engaging with our inner speech, we are able to develop a better understanding of ourselves. We become more authentic in everything we do. We're better able to respond to external events in the way we want, and are more focused on achieving our goals. Ultimately, we reduce our effort in maintaining a false image, and have more energy to pursue our passions and achieve all we want from life. My approach is built around three key elements. I'm a person-centred practitioner, appreciating that each client is unique and tailoring treatments specifically to them. I have a passion for continuous learning and believe that there is something to be learnt through every experience. Finally, although personal development will consistently push our boundaries, I feel it can be a fun and enjoyable experience, and therefore I encourage my clients to be creative in our work together.
